She was sick for a long time, and I wanted to care for her and for other people who were going through similar experiences. Through webinars and other training, I have grown in my skills and knowledge while learning to be a faithful witness for Christ in my workplace.<\/p><p data-start=\"5598\" data-end=\"5761\">The fellowship&#8217;s emphasis on Christlikeness, character, compassion and authentic influence has strengthened me in my service.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e6bb65d e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-column-slider-no wpr-equal-height-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"e6bb65d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7d61d58 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7d61d58\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Caring for Patients Beyond Their Medical Needs<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b22039c e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-column-slider-no wpr-equal-height-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b22039c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-688f504 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"688f504\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"5814\" data-end=\"5908\">Working with heart patients has taught me that caring for people goes beyond treating illness.<\/p><p data-start=\"5910\" data-end=\"6095\">Many patients come from different parts of Uganda and stay in the hospital for long periods. Families often spend all they have on treatment and may struggle to afford food or medicine.<\/p><p data-start=\"6097\" data-end=\"6466\">Sometimes I choose to give my lunch to a patient or caregiver who has nothing to eat. Other times, I provide counselling and pray with patients and families who are facing difficult diagnoses, especially when congenital heart defects bring fear and uncertainty. During those moments, I try to support them with compassion and hope.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2b3bc99 e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-column-slider-no wpr-equal-height-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2b3bc99\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-12f3c63 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"12f3c63\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Facing Challenges Together<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-63e413d e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-column-slider-no wpr-equal-height-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"63e413d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3b2fe6a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3b2fe6a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"6499\" data-end=\"6543\">Heavy workloads are a reality in healthcare.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"6545\" data-end=\"6775\">The fellowship has helped me through prayer, fellowship and reading God&#8217;s Word. Sharing with other Christian nurses encourages me and helps relieve the stress that comes with the profession.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-14462f0 e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"6992\" data-end=\"7095\">I encourage fellow nurses and midwives to put God at the centre of everything they do and to trust Him.<\/p><p data-start=\"7097\" data-end=\"7148\">Nursing is not simply a profession\u2014it is a calling.<\/p><p data-start=\"7150\" data-end=\"7218\">The Bible verse that continually encourages me is <strong data-start=\"7200\" data-end=\"7217\">Matthew 25:40<\/strong>:<\/p><p data-start=\"7220\" data-end=\"7374\"><em data-start=\"7220\" data-end=\"7334\">&#8220;Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-397cbf9
