I was searching for a place where I could grow alongside people who shared the same Christian values as I did while belonging to the same profession. That led to a deeper conversation, and I discovered that what appeared to be a simple headache was connected to a painful childhood experience that continued to affect her emotionally.<\/p><p data-start=\"2290\" data-end=\"2621\">I prayed with her, encouraged her to pray for herself and trust Jesus to redeem her story. After our conversation, she was much better. That experience reminded me that our patients are not only physically unwell but may also be carrying emotional pain that needs compassion and understanding.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2b3bc99 e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-column-slider-no wpr-equal-height-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2b3bc99\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-12f3c63 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"12f3c63\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Challenges of Being a Christian Healthcare Worker<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-63e413d e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-column-slider-no wpr-equal-height-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"63e413d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3b2fe6a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3b2fe6a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"2677\" data-end=\"2851\">One challenge we face as healthcare workers is the heavy workload, which can tempt us to become complacent. There are also times when colleagues leave much of the work to us.<\/p><p data-start=\"2853\" data-end=\"3079\">The fellowship has encouraged me to look to Jesus for strength in such moments. Look to Him for your reward rather than to people, because no person or government can truly repay your worth as a nurse.<\/p><p data-start=\"3608\" data-end=\"3681\">The Bible passage that continually inspires me is <strong data-start=\"3658\" data-end=\"3680\">Colossians 3:23\u201324<\/strong>:<\/p><p data-start=\"3683\" data-end=\"3898\"><em data-start=\"3683\" data-end=\"3860\">&#8220;Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-397cbf9 elementor-widget-divider--view-line
